Heritage Village Museum will host the First-Person Program Series this summer. Come to the Village and learn about notable people of the past from the presenters! The program begins at 7:00 p.m. but includes dessert. Jean Lowry Rankin (1795-1877) was an American abolitionist and pioneer in the antislavery movement. With her husband John Rankin, and neighbors, she assisted 2000 slaves over a 40 year time period (1825-1865) in their journey to freedom along the Underground Railroad.
The cost for each program is $17 for members and $20 for non-members.
