The Lytle Park Hotel is thrilled to announce its first-annual Lytle Pawk Pumpkin Walk, presented in partnership with Brewhaus Dog Bones. Brewhaus Dog Bones is a beloved local not-for-profit bakery, providing meaningful work opportunities for individuals with disabilities while creating wholesome, small-batch dog treats made with spent grains from Cincinnati’s craft breweries.
This one-of-a-kind fall celebration transforms Lytle Park, just outside the hotel’s doors, into a lively community festival filled with pumpkins, pups, and ways to give back. Attendees are invited to submit animal-themed carved pumpkins on behalf of a local animal rescue or nonprofit. Guests can bid on their favorite pumpkins in a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting the represented nonprofits.
A celebrity panel will select the top pumpkins, awarding prize money to animal-related 501(c)(3) organizations in the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State Region (OH, KY, IN): $1,000 for first place, $500 for second, and $250 for third. The People’s Choice Award winner will receive a special prize package from The Lytle Park Hotel. Winners will be announced at 4:30 PM. Pumpkin entries cost $25 each and can be decorated or carved before the event. Nonprofits and individuals representing nonprofits can enter by emailing lisa@brewhausdogbones.com. Silent auction sheets next to each pumpkin allow guests to bid for their favorite designs, raising additional funds for the organizations.
Local animal rescues will be on-site with adoptable dogs and information tables, while vendors showcase pet-friendly goods. Guests are encouraged to bring their dogs, explore vendor booths, and enjoy food, drinks, and a canine-friendly menu at the hotel’s Food & Wine Garden, making Pumpkin in the Park a festive fall outing for the whole family. Dog costumes are not required but encouraged!
