ArtScape Lebanon has announced a new art show for June 2021. ‘Art In Color - Celebrating Black Artists’ is a wide-ranging show featuring Black artists of Warren County. The show is the first in a series dedicated to the diverse cultural backgrounds of the artists who were born, grew up, or lived in Lebanon and the surrounding area of Warren County. The show, which will be presented online and in-person by appointment, is set to open on Juneteenth 2021. ArtScape Lebanon presents the Art In Color exhibit in partnership with the MLK Community Coalition of Lebanon. The exhibit, Art In Color - Celebrating Black Artists, will be The Martha Savage Art Gallery’s inaugural show. Kent Savage has generously supported ArtScape with the funds to honor his late wife Martha’s legacy of encouraging artists through a dedicated gallery space at the Art Depot. The exhibition will include work that is 2D, 3D, poetry, photography, video, music, and dance. The Art Depot is a community, nonprofit art center open to everyone; thus, the content will be appropriate for all viewers.
