Women Sharing the Outdoors program is designed to provide a FUN and supportive atmosphere where women (and girls ages 16 +) feel comfortable learning outdoor skills. The encouraging, hands-on and non-competitive learning environment builds confidence in our participants from all abilities and backgrounds.\
\
This FREE onsite event, “Girl Power: Outdoor Skills Sampler”, is being offered by the Izaak Walton League of America, Mt. Healthy Chapter located at 3504 Bevis Lane, 45251 in Colerain Township. This one day event occurs on Saturday, October 23 from 9am - 12:30pm. Instructors, mostly female, offer rotating introductory stations of fire building including flint /steel, campfire cooking, handgun target shooting plus collecting and creating homemade personal care lotions from backyard plants and herbs.\
\
Participants can opt out of any station if desired; no pressure, no stress. Door prizes and giveaway bags are given out at the end of the event.\
\
If you are a woman who: * has never tried these activities but hoped for an opportunity to learn. * is a beginner and wants to improve your skills. * enjoys the camaraderie of like-minded individuals ...then this event is for you! Only 12 spots left! \
