The City of Loveland is pleased to host its annual Independence Day Celebration. After being reduced in 2020 due to the pandemic, the full event is back for 2021! Join us for a full day of free, family-friendly activities and fun.
Kid Zone — 4 to 6:30 p.m., Nisbet Park
This fun area will feature rides, inflatable games, face painting, balloon twisters, photo booths, lawn games by NEST, Disney characters, Cincinnati Circus performers, a photo booth and demos by Premier Martial Arts.
Downtown Band — 4 to 8 p.m., Jackson Street Market at Brown’s Crossing
Russell Kuzuhara will perform along the bike trail at Jackson Street Market. There will also be a beer booth in this area from 4 to 10 p.m.
Parade — 7 p.m.
The parade will leave from Loveland Elementary School (600 Loveland Madeira Road), turn on West Loveland Avenue, and travel through the downtown district, ending at the intersection of State Route 48 and East Loveland Avenue. If you or your organization would like to be in the parade, please register online by June 30.
Concert — 8 to 10 p.m., Nisbet Park
The Bluewater Kings Band will perform from 8-10 p.m. at the Nisbet Park Amphitheater. The band specializes in high-energy music, and a six-piece ensemble will perform popular songs.
Fireworks — 10 p.m.
The fireworks display will begin at 10 p.m. and be visible across the city.
Food Trucks — 4 to 10 p.m.
Food truck vendors will be available at Nisbet Park and at Jackson Street Market. Try out Loveland Dairy Whip, Stellar Street Eats, SEA Cuisine, The Right Stuff Grill, Sugar Shock Funnel Cakes, Smoothie King and more.
Transportation — 4 to 11 p.m.
Parking shuttles will be transporting eventgoers continuously from 4-11 p.m. Shuttle pick-up locations will be at Loveland High School (1 Tiger Trail) and the Loveland Early Childhood Center (6740 Loveland-Miamiville Road).
