The Sharonville Cultural Arts Center is pleased to welcome Princeton High School\'s art students back to the Westheimer Gallery for our annual student showcase, the Princeton Young Artist Invitational, for October 2021.\ \ This year\'s show explores design elements and principles, as well as location and purpose of local architecture. Emphasizing basic design elements such as line, shape, color, and texture, students create compositions that recreate, juxtapose, abstract, repeat, emphasize, and celebrate our local urban and suburban environment, whether it be here in the Princeton School District, or other parts of the city.\ \ The Princeton Young Artist Invitational runs through Saturday October 23. Join us for a special Opening Reception event on FIRST FRIDAY October 1 from 5:30-7:30pm, sponsored by Princeton City Schools Superintendent and SCAC Board Member Tom Burton.\ Westheimer Gallery exhibitions and First Friday events are free and open to the public.\ \ PLEASE NOTE: As of September 15, 2021, masks are required indoors at the SCAC and Westheimer Gallery for everyone.
